The association sees the issue of innovation as a central component of broad economic development and provides a variety of frameworks and opportunities for expanding knowledge and positioning enterprises at the cutting edge of technology:
- Encouraging and making technological, organizational, cultural and industrial innovation accessible in factories.
- Assisting and encouraging innovation in the kibbutz industry and in kibbutzim through the nursery project, seed accelerator, and the Land of Angels Deep Tech Investors Club.
- Initiating and leading unique hackathons for innovative solutions to business and technological challenges in the industry.
- Promoting and supporting enterprises in submitting plans and applications for development grants at the Innovation Authority (including international R&D grants) and investments at the Investment Authority (recognized enterprise, advanced productivity and production).
- Special emphasis on digital and cyber transformation and sustainability.
- Connection to the services of the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing and Resource Efficiency (reduction of depreciation, efficiency in energy and water consumption) and to state franchisees with an emphasis on a circular economy in industrial symbiosis.
- Identifying and connecting to technological and mature business opportunities for investments and partnerships with kibbutzim and factories.
- Initiating, assisting and supporting the establishment of innovation centers in an industrial-agricultural-academic ecosystem model in the periphery.
- “Agritech Israel” – Promoting Israeli agriculture and the agricultural industry and integrating them into state programs, exhibitions, conferences and visitor centers.
