The Kibbutz Industries Association was established in 1962 and represents more than 300 companies and start-ups of the kibbutzim, cooperative settlements, and regional industrial plants throughout Israel. The companies are long-established, leading in multiple sectors such as medical and defense, excelling in Agri-tech solutions, and innovative water technologies acknowledged worldwide.

The Kibbutz Industry Association (KIA) serves as a proactive meeting point between innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Accompanying and promoting factories to apply for grants and programs from the Israel Innovation Authority and the Chief Scientist Office as
    well as European research and development grants such as Green Deal and Horizon.
  • Support digital transformational phases that are the core of the
    “Industry 4.0” and cyber security.
  • Business opportunity development for investments and partnerships of Kibbutzim and factories.
  • Connect the factories with the advanced services of the Export Institute and the Center for Resource Efficiency (carbon emission reduction,
    energy resource, and water utilization) as well as government concessions and permits and the industrial economy financial platform.

  • Initiate and produce Hackathon events to develop solutions for the challenges faced by the industry.
